DotPet Customization Guide

The information in this file will assist you in creating and loading custom pet and playfield images for DotPet.

Playfield

Custom playfields should be 228x113 to fit the window. Acceptable image formats are PNG, JPEG, and BMP.

Example:

The above example image can be located in the "manuals/images/examples" directory in the DotPet folder.

Pet Images

Custom pet images must be saved as PNG files, and the 17 required files must be present in the same folder. For best results, make sure the background in each image is transparent. In addition, the file names must be set to:

eating1.png
eating2.png
good1.png
good2.png
happy1.png
happy2.png
refuse1.png
refuse2.png
sad1.png
sad2.png
sick1.png
sick2.png
sleeping1.png
sleeping2.png
ghost.png
